Each IP soybean variety is tested before planting to ensure variety purity and quality, and is fully traceable. This IP System gives confidence all seed is pure and of the highest quality to plant for IP Non GMO soybean program.

Handling

From the planting until the harvest, IP soybean is carefully managed according to IP procedures and maintained strict segregation throughout the growing season to avoid any contamination with products containing genetically modified varieties.

Harvest

At harvest, farmers carefully clean combines augers, trucks, wagons and bins to prevent other GMO varieties from comingling with IP Soybeans. To maintain purity, farmers store IP soybeans in separate bins per variety. At no time are IP Soybeans combined or mixed with genetically modified varieties.

Storage and Processing

IP Soybeans are maintained strict segregation by receiving only approved Non-GMO soybeans at storage and cleaning facility. IP soybeans are sampled and analyzed for purity and quality before unloaded. Prior to the start of receiving, storage, and cleaning, all equipment is inspected and found to be clean and suitable to receive IP Soybeans.

Transportation

All containers are inspected and found to be clean and in good condition prior to loading of IP Soybean. During transportation, the sealed container of IP NON-GMO soybean cannot come in contact with any GMO soybean products. IP Soybean is handled in a way to avoid contamination and was not in any contact with products containing genetically modified varieties during transporation.
